In League With Us

"In the documentary, In League With Us, Lacey Johnston, has captured the essence of a unique part of lesbian history in Northampton that portrays the sense of joy, community, feminist competition and family that have endured over the 30 plus years of the Mary Vazquez Softball League."

In League With Us combines three long-time loves: history, women's sports, and film. It was a documentary that needed to be told; the Mary Vazquez Women's Softball League just celebrated it's 30 year anniversary, and the time was ripe to document it's history.

See an in-depth story of the documentary in the Daily Hampshire Gazette article: 'Like a family:' a city-based women's softball league
